New Jersey BioTechnology Workforce Investment Initiative
--- This program, launched in 2007, is based on a partnership between BioNJ, HealthCare Institute of New Jersey, New Jersey Institute of Technology, New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development, US Economic Development Administration, and the Consortium.
Training is available for all New Jersey biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and life-science companies at no cost.
Current available training classes include, but are not limited to:
- Project Management
- Six Sigma
- Strategic Planning
- Time Management
- Conflict Resolution
- Supervision
- Good Manufacturing Practices (Introduction/Update/Implementation)
- Team Building/Effectiveness/Leadership
- Business Communication (Written/Verbal)
- Biotechnology for Non-Scientist
- Computer Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Business Finance
- Presentation Skills
- Biotechnology Ethics
Requested class size is 10 participants. Classes are offered to New Jersey businesses and organizations in two formats: “Dedicated” or “Open Enrollment”.
