New Jersey BioTechnology Workforce Investment Initiative

--- This program, launched in 2007, is based on a partnership between BioNJ, HealthCare Institute of New Jersey, New Jersey Institute of Technology, New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development, US Economic Development Administration, and the Consortium.

Training is available for all New Jersey biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and life-science companies at no cost.

Current available training classes include, but are not limited to:

• Strategic Planning
• Time Management
• Conflict Resolution
• Supervision
• Good Manufacturing Practices (Introduction/Update/Implementation)
• Team Building/Effectiveness/Leadership
• Business Communication (Written/Verbal)
• Biotechnology for Non-Scientist
• Computer Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Business Finance
• Presentation Skills
• Biotechnology Ethics

Requested class size is 10 participants. Classes are offered to New Jersey businesses and organizations in two formats: “Dedicated” or “Open Enrollment”.
